First, battery pack inspection. Careful inspection of relevant components, because the standby power supply is not often put into use, whether the generator can start normally, the key lies in battery maintenance. If the battery pack has problems, the common situation is: there is voltage and no current, then you can hear the sound of the solenoid valve suction in the starting motor, but can not move the coupling. There are three reasons why the battery pack fails to shut down:
1. When the battery is stopped charging during the test, the battery will be insufficient.
2. The mechanical oil pump is driven by belt. The amount of oil pumped at rated speed is very large. However, the power supply of battery pack is insufficient. As a result, the spring sheet in the shutoff valve can not seal the fuel ejected from the four oil outlets due to the insufficient suction of solenoid valve, which makes it impossible to shut down.
3. Domestic batteries usually have a life of two years without regular replacement.
2. Start the check of solenoid valve. When the generator is running, people summarize a set of inspection methods of "one look, two listen, three touch and four smell". Listening at startup is an important step. Take the original Cummins generator in the United States as an example. It can start in three seconds by pressing the start button. Two "clicks" can be heard in these three seconds. Once the second sound is not heard, it is necessary to check whether the starting solenoid valve is working properly. If the solenoid coil is burnt out, the generator can not start.
3. Inspection of diesel oil and lubricating oil. Carefully check the relevant components, because the unit is in static state for a long time, the various materials of the unit itself will have complex chemical and physical changes with oil, cooling water, diesel oil, air and so on, which will cause the unit to "put" bad. Therefore, attention should be paid to the problem of oil. For fire safety, diesel fuel tanks are usually placed in a sealed room. Water vapor in the atmosphere condenses due to the change of temperature. Water droplets are formed and attached to the inner wall of the tank and flow into the diesel oil, resulting in excessive moisture content of the diesel oil. Such diesel oil entering the high-pressure oil pump of the diesel engine will corrode the precise coupling parts- —— Piston, serious damage to the unit. Generator lubricating oil has a shelf life. If it is stored for a long time, the physical and chemical properties of the lubricating oil will change, resulting in deterioration of the lubricating state of the unit and easily causing damage to the generator parts.
